Transitory Feelings

 


'You know you are looking so handsome, Latika will be happy to see you today during wedding', Sneha spoke her mind, no idea it was flirt or simple appreciation.

Jay was getting groomed as it was his wedding's day. 

Jai Could not take it easily, he reached the cloud nine, and says, "I have given opportunity to you to get marry with me, but you did not give it a chance. Now Latika will be that lucky girl".

"What if I ask you now to get hitched with me, will you marry me?" Sneha jovially delivered this robust statement in shallows way.

Jai wrapped his right hand's fingers around the right wrist of Sneha, and dragged her towards him.

Because of this sudden jolt, the feet of Sneha moved lately but upper body touched the chest of Jay instantly. 

Sneha chinned up and started looking into the eyes of Jay with puzzled eyes with shrunk forehead.

Jay pulled her again and this time Sneha's and Jay's bodies could feel each other. Jay tried to kiss Sneha but at the same time, Jay's sister entered the room, and scene got deleted. However, Seema went out and Sneha was still there. As Seema stepped out, Jay did not waste time and again came closer to Sneha. Yes, this time they got some extra time.

'Will you marry me Jay, now you have seen the intensity of my love,' Sneha asked in heavy voice.

'Let me plan something to stop this marriage, thereafter I will marry you for sure,' Jay responded.

Sneha asked Jay to come closer.

Jay came closer to her; Sneha cordoned him by grasping his waist. She pulled Jay's body with full force.

There was no space for air to pass between their bodies. 

And she started saying in a strange tone...

'You did not even care about that girl who must be adoring her body to look the most beautiful bride of the world. She would have dreamt about her life with you in various scenarios, and she will be seeing your way today. She would be thoroughly in you today. And here you are into my body, not even in me. Even if you have been in me, it would be good at an extent but here you are quenching your  thirst. If you really wanted me or loved me, you have given me a direction. Here you damaged things, and it is not collateral because collateral damage always included in the plan, but here in friction of time you took decision to become the disloyal for Latika,' Sneha released Jay from her arms and part away. 

Jay's mobile notified that Latika was requesting a video call. Jay accepted the call, Sneha looked at him and stepped out the room.

Latika was very happy, she was showing her dresses and all of sudden she says,

'So Jay, what are those long hairs doing on your chest'.

Jay got taken aback after hearing. Her face doused like flash bulb.

'Arre, do not worry, it will be coming from your families as today they will be taking care of your dress and all as rituals say,' Latika laughed.

Jay looked at those strand of hairs, and sunk somewhere in shame...

I was coming out of the main block to the courtyard area of my office, and she was coming downstairs with her colleagues, holding a poster while I took the first glance at her. But my heart did not skip any heartbeat. I picked up the phone and only saw if there was any crack; however, there was no hairline.  I still remember when my father bought me a Tata Indicom CDMA connection. It cost 1000 INR, but it had a talk time of 600 rupees; technically, that phone was worth 400. One day, I was fiddling with my mobile while I was standing. That tiny mobile slipped off my hand.
